This policy explains what information Free Range Films (Eric Daft, Teton Valley, Idaho; “we,” “us”) collects through freerangefilm.net, how it is used, and the choices you have.

• Information you send us. When you use a form on this site (project brief, availability request or footage request) we collect what you enter, such as your name, email, phone, company, project dates, location, budget range and message.
• Technical information. Like most websites, our host records basic server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested and time) for security and troubleshooting. Images are delivered through an image-optimization service, which receives the same basic request data.
• Cookies. The site does not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. WordPress sets cookies only for logged-in site administrators. If we add analytics, we will update this policy first.

How We Use It

• To answer your inquiry, prepare quotes, schedule shoots and deliver work.
• To keep records of projects and licenses.
• To protect the site from spam and abuse.

We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not share it for advertising.

Who We Share It With

Only the service providers needed to run the site and the business: web hosting, email delivery, image optimization and form handling. Each receives only what it needs to do its job. We may disclose information if the law requires it.

How Long We Keep It

Inquiries are kept for up to three years, or longer when they become a project or license and records are needed for contracts, taxes or rights management.

Your Choices

You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you by sending a request through our contact page. We respond within 30 days.

This site links to Instagram, streaming services and film pages. Their privacy practices are their own.

Children

This site is for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
